An invitation to the rehearsal of the Staatskapelle Dresden Orchestra

On Saturday, June 9th we are going to have an extraordinary opportunity to eavesdrop on practice of Staatskapelle Dresden Orchestra. It will be a chance to take a look at everyday work of word-class musicians at the beautiful opera house  the Semperoper. In the program, this time, alongside the interpretation of Gideon Kremers, we can expect a violin concerto op. 67 by the Polish composer Mieczysław Weinberg and the work »Lemminkäinen« -Suite op. 22 by Jean Sibelius, Arvo Pärts’ “Swansong”. The concert is going to be conducted by Paavo Järvi.

The invitation is addressed primarily to children, adolescents and young adults along with caretakers.

We are leaving at 7.30 from Görlitz’s main railway station. Return around 16.
