Kindermiasto “unsere stadt – our city” takes place in Görlitz-Zgorzelec every two years during the summer break in Poland and Saxony. All children between the ages of 7 and 14 are invited to participate. For two weeks, about 200 participating children have the opportunity to create their own city. This is not only an opportunity to try out for a chosen profession, but also to run for mayor, meet new friends and experience how international and intercultural cooperation can work.
