PAUSE FOR THE ARTS – is a multimedia festival of arts and music for children and youth living in the tri-border region. Inside and outside of the Theater Goerlitz children from all schools, various organizations will present on stage their theatral, musical and art skills. The project started in 2004 and is a coorporation between MEETINGPOINT and Gerhart-Hauptmann-Theater.
Here, the young artists learn from each other and also know yourself better. For children and young people from the euro region, the festival is a unique opportunity not only to present, but also – and this is crucial – perceive with the presentations of the various groups and diverse divisions each other. You experience art by and for peers, also from the neighboring countries, ranging from music to poetry, from painting to dance.
